And so it begins. On this historic night America has chosen to usher in a new era, and moved America closer to fulfilling it’s desire to ‘form a more perfect union’. I am thankful to have participated and witnessed this event.
However, this is not about me. It’s about US, it’s about YOU. Point of fact is that the work has yet to begin.
Now it is time to deliver on the promise of change, and guess what - THAT’S OUR RESPONSIBILITY - like you and me. There is momentum for change in this country, now when we are in desperate need, that has not been seen in some time.
It’s time for participation, on all fronts, regardless of political affilliation, and there are a number of ways to do so. I’m not going into them now, it’s a celebratory night. However, in the near future, I hope to serve as an example of how to engage, and also provide some ways for others to do so, because in the end America benefits.
Cynics, pleases feel free to verbally object, I welcome the fuel.
